Evaluation
What makes your poster standout? I think the black and white colour theme paired with the white border help to make the poster stand out
Who would you say is the target audience for the film (consider: age range, gender, interests)?
I would say 12+ horror film enthusiasts, most probably teenage boys
If you had an extra week or bigger budget what would you do differently?
I would have actors with special effects make up stand behind the main character, giving a creepy finish.
What changes to your workflow could you make in future projects to improve your outcome?
Make a very clear organised plan at the beginning and make sure to make a plan B, incase anything goes wrong with the initial idea.
How did you improve your Photoshop skills?
I watched YouTube videos and taught myself the things I wanted to know, like adding the white boarder and the heavy grain over the image.
What research did you do to aid your creation of a film poster (this could include looking at other examples, researching fonts, lighting styles, effects etc)?
I researched justice is blind poster tropes to give me different ideas of what I wanted my poster to look like.
What research methods did you use (google, talking to others, teacher advice, youTube etc)?
Google, talking to others and Youtube
Which of these methods was the most useful?
Youtube
How successful were you at evidencing your progression and work as you went along?
I was not very successful at doing this as I had to restart my work half way through and changed my whole idea so I ended up forgetting to get as much evidence as possible.
